Kim Tae Woo proves he’s one of a kind on JTBC “Hidden Singer”

With a 15 year career as a singer behind him, g.o.d‘s Kim Tae Woo proved himself as one of a kind in the latest episode of JTBC Hidden Singer after going up against his vocal doppelgangers.

Aired on November 1st, Kim Tae Woo gained a high count of votes from the audience as the real singer, taking the win for the episode. g.o.d’s Danny Ahn, Song Ho Young and Joon Park were present at the recording to show their support as well.

During Round 1, Kim Tae Woo and company sang “Dreaming Dream” from the KBS 2TV drama IRIS, which was followed by the OST track “High High” from the SBS drama A Gentleman’s Dignity for the second round.

The audience of 100 showed their shock when it was revealed the real singer was in fact behind door #3 in the first round, getting the least amount of votes along with another contestant. Kim Tae Woo had gotten a few notes incorrect, however, his fellow g.o.d members proved to know him well enough to know the correct answer.

The third round was a group mission and featured g.o.d’s popular track “Lies”, which pushed Kim Tae Woo into the finals.

Round 4, his solo song “Love Rain” was sung, to which he finally emerged as the winner as the real singer as voted by the audience.
