The Queen of OSTs Puts a Fresh Spin on BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU”

The queen of OSTs can rap.

If you’re a K-Drama fan, you might have heard of the Queen of OSTs, LYn.

She’s well-known for her beautiful soundtracks for popular dramas such as Moon Embracing the Sun, My Love from the Star, Oh My Venus, and Descendants of the Sun.

LYn is commonly known for her ballad vocals that really compliment emotional and romantic scenes of K-Dramas.

So it could be quite surprising that she recently covered BLACKPINK‘s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” on Yu Huiyeol’s Sketchbook.

Following a performance of her own song, “Teddy Bear”, she was asked if there was any other genre she wanted to try.

In response, LYn said she has featured in some hip-hop songs but that she has never rapped herself.

She then expressed her love for BLACKPINK and proceeded to cover their most recent song, “DDU-DU DDU-DU”.

The way she sang the popular K-Pop song was very refreshing, and her rap was very impressive.
