Here’s TWICE’s Jihyo’s Emotional And Stressful Journey To Debuting

Jihyo has even gotten criticized by the JYP Entertainment staff in the past.

While TWICE‘s Jihyo is now the leader of one of the most popular groups in K-Pop, her journey getting to this point wasn’t an easy one.

A YouTube channel by the name of “Ping Gies” compiled some moments showing Jihyo’s journey to debuting, and found that it was quite an emotional and stressful one. One of the reasons Jihyo’s journey was so difficult was that she was a trainee for over 10 years.

At the beginning of SIXTEEN, which is the show that created TWICE, Jihyo was placed into the minor team. This meant that Jihyo was only able to practice late at night.

This had quite an effect on Jihyo, as she was unable to practice properly during the time. This led to her team getting scolded by some of the staff at JYP Entertainment.

Despite this, Jihyo cheered on her fellow team members and pushed them in a positive direction.

It’s also revealed that Jihyo gained some weight before SIXTEEN, as she was facing a lot of stress.

This caused Jihyo to have some confidence issues, as seemingly tried to hide from the cameras as much as she could during photoshoots.

Jihyo also faced some criticism from staff members at the company due to her weight.

This caused Jihyo to work hard to lose weight, as she felt that she was unable to perform to the best of her abilities.

Despite all these hardships, Jihyo still maintained a positive attitude and worked diligently towards her debut.
