The results of this month’s Top 100 Idols Brand Reputation Ranking are in, and BTS’s Jimin has just set two new records on the list!
Every month, the Korean Business Research Institute publishes several lists ranking the most popular idols and groups of the moment. The results are based on everything from media coverage to TV appearances to discussions in online forums.
On March 29, the Brand Reputation Ranking results for the Top 100 Individual Idols in March 2020 were revealed—and the top spot was awarded to none other than Jimin. Topping the list once is an achievement in itself, but this isn’t Jimin’s first time. In fact, he’s placed #1 on the Top 100 Idols list so many times, he actually just set a new record.
Jimin’s #1 score in March 2020 makes him the first Korean artist to top the Top 100 Idols list for an entire year! He’s received first place for 12 consecutive months.
Technically, this gives him two records, since he’s also the only artist to top the list every month since the Top 100 Idol survey began.
Let’s take a look at some of his impressive results from this year.
In March 2020, Jimin placed #1 on the list with 8.3 million points. His most-searched related keywords were “promise”, “ON”, and “Filter”, while the top phrases linked to him were “moved”, “powerful”, and “comfort.
In February 2020, Jimin placed #1 on the list with 9.7 million points. His most-searched related keywords were “comeback”, “YouTube”, and “ARMY”, while the top phrases linked to him were “cool”, “love”, and “captivating”.
In January 2020, Jimin placed #1 on the list with 10.9 million points. His most-searched related keywords were “ARMY”, “new song”, and “golden disc”, while the top phrases linked to him were “kind”, “happy”, and “cute”.
Jimin has also topped the Brand Reputation Ranking for Individual Boy Group Members 15 consecutive months in a row as of March 2020, and 17 times overall.
Congratulations to Jimin on this very impressive achievement!
