As a brand ambassador, BTS‘s Jin comes with fine print. Will he promote the product and fulfill his contract obligations? Yes…
…but he’ll do it his way!
I’m not lying, [Chilsung Cider is] really delicious. Truly. I’ve fulfilled the contract condition of promoting its deliciousness naturally.)
In July, BTS became brand ambassadors for Baskin Robbins Korea. Since then, the members have shot multiple ads and enjoyed delicious Baskin Robbins’ ice cream on camera.
Usually, brand ambassadors sing their products’ praises, but nothing and nobody can change Jin’s opinion about mint chocolate ice cream…
…or so we thought? In a past interview, Jin named “Wizard’s Halloween” as one of his go-to flavors. On Weverse, a fan recently pointed out that this ice cream has mint in it.
“Oppa,” they wrote. “Wizard’s Halloween has mint in it too…”
Rather than changing his opinion for promotional purposes, Jin revealed what actually happened. “I took the blue part off,” he said.
Jin’s not a mint enthusiast, but he does understand the logic of mint lovers, in some cases. “People eat mint chocolate and green tea together nowadays because it’s ‘Bulbasaur edition’. but I don’t get why they do it…” another fan wrote.
“It’s a shortcut to evolving into Venusaur,” Pokemon Master Jin replied.
