BLACKPINK Revealed They’re Finally All Together In The Recording Studio & BLINKs Couldn’t Be Happier

Could this finally mean new music is coming?

BLINKs got a big surprise on March 25 when the BLACKPINK members revealed they’re finally all together in the studio.

All the members updated their Instagram stories one after another. Jennie uploaded a photo of herself holding Lisa’s limited-edition photobook, 0327, asking fans if they’re jealous. Given that the book sold out in around an hour, there are definitely some envious BLINKs out there right now.

Jisoo posted a loop of Lisa gracing several books with her signature for the lucky fans who won the 0327 prize draw (as well as the lucky BLACKPINK members). According to Jisoo’s update, Lisa is the “Signature Master”.

When Rosé posted a story in the same location, BLINKs realized all the members are actually together!

Since all four BLACKPINK members have a lot of individual projects on the go, it’s become a rarity for fans to see OT4 updates. The fact that they were together for Lisa’s photobook signing made it even more special.

But that’s not the only special thing about it. Eagle-eyed fans also managed to work out exactly where the BLACKPINK members were having fun—the recording studio! Specifically, they were in The Black Label studio, as seen on Somi’s reality series.

Look closely, and you can see that the wall design is exactly the same. The Black Label, which manages Somi, is a subsidiary of YG Entertainment, founded by BLACKPINK’s main producer Teddy.

Although they were there to sign Lisa’s book, that doesn’t mean they didn’t have another purpose.

BLINKs are convinced the studio appearance means the girls are finally recording new music, which could mean a comeback or collaboration is on the horizon.

Recently, rumors have been circulating of a possible BLACKPINK x Lady Gaga collaboration on Gaga’s new album, Chromatica. On March 24, Gaga announced that the album release would be delayed from its previous April 10 release date as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. So, if a collaboration wasn’t already recorded for the album, there’s still plenty of time for both sides to make it happen.
