Yuk Jidam Gets Robbed In The States While Helping Out A Homeless Man

While helping out a few homeless men in San Francisco, Yuk Ji Dam found herself in a jiffy when a thief ran away with her luggage.

Rapper Yuk Jidam was robbed while traveling in San Francisco, California.

She revealed the complete story on her Instagram.

She was walking the streets when a pair of homeless men caught her eye, and she couldn’t help but help them out in any way she can.

“Some homeless men holding up a sign caught my eye, so I couldn’t just pass them by. I gave them all the cash I had, as well as bought them some gloves, socks, pizza, drink, and things they may need.” — Yuk Ji Dam

She was in the middle of helping them out when someone grabbed her belongings and bolted.

“I was in the middle of a conversation with them when a thief literally grabbed all of the luggage that I had right beside me and ran away so fast.” — Yuk Ji Dam

It was literally everything she owned and needed to get back home.

“He stole everything I had, my passport, bags, credit card, things I bought, and more.” — Yuk Ji Dam

But thankfully, the two homeless men helped her catch the thief and return her belongings!

“Thankfully, the homeless men that I helped out before caught the thief for me. … And the homeless men weren’t co-conspirators. They’re very nice people who ran so fast to catch the thief. I’m not lost in a foreign country thanks to them ㅠㅠ They really weren’t in on it. I swear 😩🙅🏻‍♀️🤙🏻!!!!!!!” — Yuk Ji Dam

The thief cursed and spat at Yuk Ji Dam when they caught up to him, even daring them to call the police.

The homeless men tried to call the police for her, but Ji Dam assured them that she was okay now that she has her stuff. The thief then quickly ran away again.

After the whole debacle, she thanked the two homeless men and took selfies with them to remember their encounter together.

She emphasized that she only uploaded her story in hopes that it doesn’t happen to another traveler like herself.

“Wow, I seriously hate uploading something like this but if you’re anywhere outside of Korea, be mindful of your belongings. … Everyone, please be careful ㅠㅠ … I’m just warning everyone so it doesn’t happen to you. ㅠㅠ” — Yuk Ji Dam

She uploaded the whole story, as well as video footage from her experience, on her Instagram.

“Wow I seriously hate uploading something like this but if you’re anywhere outside of Korea, be mindful of your belongings.

Some homeless men holding up a sign caught my eye, so I couldn’t just pass them by. I gave them all the cash I had, as well as bought them some gloves, socks, pizza, drink, and things they may need.

I was in the middle of a conversation with them when a thief literally grabbed all of the luggage that I had right beside me and ran away so fast.

But when I caught up to him, he had the nerve to curse and spit at me, daring me to call the police, and he ran away again.

It was my first time visiting the States, so I was unfamiliar with everything. I didn’t know someone would steal something that’s right next to me and run off like that.

He stole everything I had, my passport, bags, credit card, things I bought, and more.

Thankfully, the homeless men that I helped out before caught the thief for me.

I’m okay now. I have everything and I’ve returned to the hotel.

Everyone, be careful. I was so scared that I would be lost in a foreign country. My phone battery was at the verge of dying and I got so scared…

My heart’s still thumping… I never knew something bad could happen to me as I was doing something good for someone else… Everyone, please be careful ㅠㅠ

Don’t let something like this unthinkable comedy movie scene happen to you.

I’m going to leave all of my luggage at the hotel and only carry around a backpack.

I’m just warning everyone so it doesn’t happen to you. ㅠㅠ

Everyone, please be careful. I seriously hope my life won’t be so dynamic. Is God fooling around with me? ㅠㅠ What could I possibly have done in my past life that something like always this happens to me… sigh… Don’t worry about me.

Everything’s been sorted out, and I just uploaded this to warn other so stop your worrying ㅠㅠㅠ

My heart is hurting ㅠㅠ sigh… And the homeless men weren’t coconspirators. They’re very nice people who ran so fast to catch the thief. I’m not lost in a foreign country thanks to them ㅠㅠ They really weren’t in on it. I swear 😩🙅🏻‍♀️🤙🏻!!!!!!!

I didn’t help them just to pretend that I’m nice. I was just filming a video because it was my first time in the States.

Whether it’s in Korea or anywhere in the world, I can’t just pass by homeless people. My friends would know.

This didn’t happen to me because I’m dumb but more because I didn’t know about the States well enough.

Just read this with an open mind, and everyone please understand that I only upload this to prevent something like this from happening to you. Please ㅠㅠ everyone stop ㅠㅠ ……. it’s my last wish 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏
