Weverse Shop Criticized For Poor Handling Of BTS Goods For International Fans

Weverse Company was issued a warning.

Weverse Shop has once again fallen into criticism for the poor handling of BTS goods for international fans.

It was reported in Korean media that an international consumer had purchased the membership for BTS on Weverse back on January 22, 2020. At that point in time, she had paid the full fees including international shipping for the welcome kit that is provided to paid members of the fanclub. However, the welcome kit has not been sent to her, despite the fact that over a year has passed.

According to the Korea Consumer Agency, from January 2020 to May 2021, there has been a total of 13 cases reported from international consumers against Weverse Company. This does not include unreported incidents. 7 cases had been reported from Taiwan, 4 from Europe and 1 each from Hong Kong and the Philippines.

Most of the cases were due to non-delivery of the item. The Korea Consumer Agency has reportedly already warned Weverse Company of the cases and for them to settle with the consumers.
