For her role in Sweet Home, Go Min Si braced herself for a tricky role in Korea’s first monster drama.

I was curious as to how Korea’s first monster movie would be portrayed, and I was worried if I could do a good job. I figured I had to put a lot of effort into my acting.

But what she particularly prepared for was to physically be ready for her character who does ballet.

I practiced to play a character who does ballet. You have to do hard training when it comes to acting that requires your body if you want 70% to 80% of it to come on screen.

For that reason, Go Min Si made sure to look the part by losing 13 kilograms (29 pounds) since her role in The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion.

She purposely gained weight to become 58 kilograms (128 pounds) for her role in The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion to suit her role as an average student and friend, but when it came time for her role as a ballet dancer, she made the effort to lose a very large proportion of that.

As a result, Go Min Si transformed perfectly for both roles and look quite different in each project.
