Strengthened Regulations For Malicious Comments Resurfaces After Goo Hara’s Passing

They hope to strengthen regulations against malicious comments.

With the recent news of Goo Hara’s passing, people are voicing their opinions about strengthening regulations for malicious comments.

Song Sung Min, who is the director of the Entertainment Management Association, stated during an interview, “The sexual harassment and malicious comments on female celebrities is very serious.”

Song continued, “It is difficult to find a way to regulate the malicious comments because the internet real-name system has been deemed unconstitutional.”

The system needs to be strengthened through realistic measures such as keyword prevention that does not expose abusive or sexual harassment.
