Soyou Will Reportedly Leave Starship Entertainment

She is looking for a new agency.

Former SISTAR member Soyou will reportedly be leaving Starship Entertainment.

According to an exclusive report from JTBC, Soyou will be leaving Starship Entertainment after recently deciding not to renew her contract with the company. She debuted with SISTAR in 2010 and after the group’s disbandment in 2017, she renewed her contract for another five years.

Soyou is currently searching for a new agency, and is on the free agent market. JTBC has reported that she has received various offers to join their agency, who are interested in bringing Soyou and her vocal color into their ranks.

Neither Soyou’s representatives nor Starship Entertainment have confirmed JTBC’s report yet.
