MONSTA X And (G)I-DLE To Join Twitch Stream Aid 2020 To Fight Global Coronavirus Pandemic

MONSTA X and (G)I-DLE will be participating in Stream Aid 2020, a special live event that aims to raise awareness and funds to fight the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) pandemic.

Stream Aid 2020 will be a 12-hour long live broadcasting event through the streaming platform Twitch. This special event whose slogan is “Go live to save lives” will feature everything from Fortnite tournaments to UNO competitions and music performances.

On March 26, Twitch shared the date and lineup for their event and among the star-studded list were MONSTA X and (G)I-DLE! Shortly after Twitch shared the info, MONSTA X confirmed the news and expressed how they felt about joining the live.

Likewise, Cube Entertainment also tweeted out about (G)I-DLE joining the broadcast hyping everyone up for the event.

Aside from MONSTA X and (G)I-DLE, the event will include many more stars from the fields of music, sports, and gaming. Among those set to perform include Lauv, Charlie Puth, Steve Aoki, Ellie Goulding, Jordan Sparks, and more!

Proceeds from the event will go to the World Health Organization‘s Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund. Stream Aid 2020 is set to go live on March 28 at 12 PM to 12 AM EST (9 AM to 9 PM PST).
