Lee Min Jung is to return back from L.A. sometimes before or after the Korean New Year’s Day. The actress plans to stay in Korea until her due date, denying rumors of it being a maternity trip.
According to an affiliated member on January 29th, “Lee Min Jung will come back before or after the New Year’s Day. Since there is a high volume of attention on her return date, she is still considering on concrete dates. Once she returns, it will be difficult for her to leave Korea as she will be on her last month of pregnancy. She will be staying in Korea until she delivers the baby. She has no plans on a maternity trip.”
After completing her schedules in Korea, Lee Min Jung and her husband and actor Lee Byung Hun left to Los Angeles, California, on January 19th.
At the time, her agency MS Team Entertainment stated, “She will come back before or after the New Year’s Day to spend time with the family. Lee Byung Hun’s return date has not been confirmed yet.” On the day, the agency also broke a surprising and happy news that Lee Min Jung is 27 weeks pregnant.
However, the news were announced later, as MS Team said, “We were cautious in letting the public know about this, not only because of the recent incident, but also to protect Lee Min Jung’s maternal stability.”
The happy news follows the trying months preceding it since last August as Lee Byung Hun was, until recently, entangled in legal battles against GLAM’s Dahee and model Lee Ji Yeon. The disputes came to an end on January 15th, and now it seems the couple can fully focus on preparing for the birth of their first child expected to be due in April 2015.
