Released in 2013, the show stars actor Lee Min Ho as Kim Tan and Park Shin Hye as Cha Eun Sang. Despite being from a poor background, Cha Eun Sang’s life is turned upside down when she attends one of the most elite schools in Korea and becomes the focus of Kim Tan’s attention.

She also catches the attention of Choi Young Do, who is played by Kim Woo Bin. Despite the actor’s genuine personality, his character was known for being a “bully” and is the former best friend of Kim Tan. Young Do began picking on Cha Eun Sang to irritate Tan, but he started developing feelings for her.

Recently, the actor has been promoting his newest project Alienoid with actress Kim Tae Ri. The duo have been capturing the hearts of netizens with their adorable chemistry.

To promote the film, Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, and fellow co-star Ryu Jun Yeol appeared on an episode of MMTG with host JaeJae.

As well as chatting about the movie, they had to bring up The Heirs. From the minute they started talking about the show, Kim Tae Ri and Ryu Jun Yeol were literally relatable AF as they screamed, “Young Do!” and got very excited.

During the video, they spoke about the iconic scene in the cafeteria when Kim Woo Bin’s character had to spill curry on Lee Min Ho.

Yet, despite the two characters’ feud, it seems like the relationship between Kim Woo Bin and Lee Min Ho was much more professional. During the episode, JaeJae pointed out that, what seemed like a scene showcasing aggression, was actually done very gently.

You’re pouring the curry very, very, gently because you don’t want to stain his white shirt.

The scene was then shown again, but it pointed out that, if you looked carefully, the curry was only spilled on Lee Min Ho’s jacket. It means that the character only had to remove his jacket and turn it inside out to throw at Kim Woo Bin without getting anyone dirty.

After showing the clip, Kim Woo Bin immediately remembered filming the iconic scene. Kim Woo Bin pointed out that, when they were filming, Lee Min Ho only had one shirt.

The actor then pointed out that they had another scene they had to film with Lee Min Ho wearing that shirt.

For this reason, it turns out that the fight was actually Kim Woo Bin being very considerate of not only his co-star but the staff in the wardrobe department.

Even though his character is meant to be mean and troubled, Kim Woo Bin proved his genuine and considerate personality even back then. He didn’t want to cause any inconvenience to the staff and made sure he stayed vigilant while conveying the emotions of the scene.
