Kim Jong Kook expressed remorse to Yoon Eun Hye

Kim Jong Kook has expressed remorse to Yoon Eun Hye in light of the recent retweet campaign to get the actress on Running Man.

Kim Jong Kook’s representative stated, “Kim Jong Kook felt very apologetic towards Yoon Eun Hye because he seems to have inadvertently created an uncomfortable situation for her due to the recent mentions of the episodes aired in the past television show. He is thankful and apologetic to those who have been part of the memories. He apologizes if there have been any uncomfortable feelings, and hopes there are no misunderstandings.”

Previously on SBS Healing Camp‘s episodes broadcasted on January 26th and February 2nd, Kim Jong Kook mentioned about Yoon Eun Hye in hindsight of their relationship on the past television show. Not long after many fans hoped Yoon Eun Hye to appear on Running Man. With the frenzied public opinion, on February 5th, SBS began a social media campaign, urging Running Man lovers to retweet and use hashtags to get Yoon Eun Hye to appear on the variety show, attracting thousands of fans to participate in just over two days.

Although it has brought much attention as to whether or not Yoon Eun Hye will answer to the fans’ lovecall to appear on Running Man, the actress has not given any public response to the event. Some had mixed reactions as they felt the campaign was somewhat forceful.

Meanwhile, a representative from Running Man said, “The event was a spontaneous movement for the fans of ‘X-Man’ reminiscing about Yoon Eun Hye and Kim Jong Kook at the time. Solely in perspective of our program, we only thought it would be a good opportunity.”
