High schooler kidnaps his best friend, locks him up and tortures him for 10 days

Three high schoolers are on trial for kidnapping their friend, locking him up, and torturing him.

It all started when the victim, Kim Hyung Gun (alias), left his mother a note before running away from home.

“It’s been really frustrating and boring for me to stay at home, so I’m going to be out for a while. I’ll sleep at my friend’s house for 2-3 days and come back home, so don’t worry about me.

I’m also going to try and go to tutoring academy if I can, so don’t find me or worry about me, and don’t fight because of me. I’ll also possibly call you while I’m out (the friend’s house I’m going to is someone you don’t know the number to, so don’t call my other friends).”

Ten days later, he returned home demanding money from his mother, claiming he had to pay someone back by midnight.

His mother knew he was hiding something, and after some convincing, she finally got her son to say, “Let’s go to the police station.”

There, Kim Hyung Gun revealed that he was forced to run away from home only to be kidnapped and tortured by them.

The bullies allegedly found an empty studio where they locked him up, seared his genitals with lit cigarettes, and forced him to perform oral sex on them.

They also rammed him against the wall and beat him, then collected the blood from his nosebleed to perform ouija rituals.

As if that wasn’t enough, the bullies had stolen over 2 million KRW ($1,740 USD) from Kim Hyung Gun over the span of 4 months.

Upon hearing Kim Hyung Gun’s story, the police found the bullies and sent them to a detention center for discipline.

There, the bullies sent over 90 apology letters to Kim Hyung Gun’s family in the span of a month, yet none were genuine even in the slightest.

May 5: “My birthday’s next week ㅋㅋ I’m working out too. When I get out, I’ll treat you better.”
May 6: “Forgive me now please… I won’t do anything bad again. I still want to be a pilot.”
May 7: “When I become successful later, I’ll repay you.”
May 10: “Isn’t it time for you to forgive me now? You’re being so cruel to me.”
May 12: “How are ya~? I’m envious of you.”
May 14: “I’m just trying to reduce my sentence. Let me out as you can…”
