FTISLAND’s Japanese album “5…..GO” charts on Oricon immediately after release

Soon after wrapping up their promotions for their fifth Korean album I Will, FTISLAND released their fifth Japanese album 5…..GO on May 13th, which went on the Japan Oricon daily album chart ranking third.

The Oricon charts are Japan’s largest record sales aggregated site. 5…..GO was recorded to sold 19,059 copies on the first day, proving FTISLAND’s popularity in Japan.

With the recently released promotional music video, title track “Primavera” was a collaboration betwen Hongki and his friend Taka of the popular Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK. The studio album contains a total of 10 songs. Other members, including Seunghyun and Jonghoon, have also written the lyrics and music for the tracks “YES or NO” and “DAYDREAMER” in the album.

Meanwhile, FTISLAND made their Japanese debut in 2010 with the single “Flower Rock.” The band will be meeting their Japanese fans with extensive performances in May till July. The FTISLAND 5th Anniversary Arena Tour 2015 “5…..GO” will be touring in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Kanagawa.
