Cosmic Girls Postpone “Obliviate” Concert Series Due To Coronavirus Outbreak

Over 1,000 people have died due to the virus so far.

Cosmic Girls were scheduled to hold a 2-day concert at the Olympic Hall in Seoul in just a few weeks. But their agency ultimately decided to postpone their concert due to the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus and the societal scare that followed.

Starship announced that as they put the health and safety of their artists, fans, and staff as top priority, it was only right to postpone the concert.

Cosmic Girls’ 2-day concert on the 22nd and 23rd have been postponed due to the recent scare regarding the spread of the coronavirus.

Cosmic Girls’ concert was predicted to bring in fans from all over the world. To have hundreds of people gathering in close quarters was deemed unsafe by the agency.

Starship hasn’t revealed when the new dates will be or how the fans may be reimbursed for the changes. But they will be making an update soon about the future plans for Cosmic Girls’ “Obliviate” concert series.

The coronavirus continues to spread viciously as over 1,000 deaths have been confirmed due to the virus with over 43,000 cases reported all over the world.

The public, especially those in Asia, are currently taking extra precautions to put a stop to the outbreak.
