For many, the first interactions between the members of the Wooga Squad would’ve been with the series Hwarang. In 2016, Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik, and V starred in the much-loved series alongside others like SHINee‘s Minho and instantly gained a lot of love for their chemistry.

Even when the cameras weren’t rolling, netizens couldn’t get over the interactions between the members. In particular, as one of the youngest and least experienced actors on the set, the cast of Hwarang made sure to care for V.

During the last episode of In The Soop, BTS’s V started talking about his experiences on the show. In particular, he couldn’t stop praising oldest member Park Seo Joon for all the help he’d given the idol while shooting the series.

V explained that he was very nervous as it was his first time acting and it was also being done alongside BTS’s concert. Unsurprisingly,  V then shared that he was “clueless” about acting and always wondered how to express his emotions through his dialogue.

As one of the most senior actors in the main cast, V went to Park Seo Joon for some advice. Yet, rather than just giving him small bits of advice here and there, Park Seo Joon went into detail, going above and beyond to help the young idol.

Because it was my first time, I felt totally lost. When I told him that, he helped me find the right emotion for each scene and recorded all of that in a voice memo.

Yet, it seemed like Park Seo Joon was also grateful to V and his willingness to learn and grow during Hwarang.

The actor revealed that V was aware of his struggles, and he loved seeing how much the idol was willing to learn and do well, which made Park Seo Joon want to help him.

What I was thankful for V was that he knew that he was lacking, so he kept asking me. I have never met someone like that and I could really feel that he wanted to do a good job, so I just wanted to help him.
