U.S. Senators Are Fighting Over Invitations To See BTS At The White House

May the best ARMY win!

Whether it’s at a concert, a fan meeting, or The White House, ARMYs are ready to fight for their chance to see BTS in person. Just ask anyone who has ever put their sanity at risk in the Ticketmaster trenches.

On May 31, BTS will join U.S. President Joe Biden to discuss racial discrimination, anti-Asian hate crimes, and more at The White House.

Jungkook took off from Incheon International Airport on May 28 (KST), a day ahead of his members, to complete additional, undisclosed work. All seven BTS members have now arrived in the U.S.

Naturally, ARMY is excited to see what happens at The White House, but they’re not the only ones wishing for an audience with the members. Natalie Andrews, a congressional correspondent for The Wallstreet Journal, tweeted this on behalf of U.S. Senator Mazie Hirono:

Senator Hirono claims she is the only U.S. senator who knows BTS, but Senator Chris Coons was quick to shut this down! He replied to Andrews’ tweet with a photo of BTS displayed on his desk.

Of course, Senator Hirono wasn’t about to let him swoop in on her invitation. Time for a pop quiz!

Senator Coons has not yet replied, but so far ARMYs are loving this exchange.

Who will score an invitation? We’ll just have to wait and see!
