Page Six Reports That BTS & Justin Bieber Are Releasing A Collab Song

It’s been on the rumor mill for years—could it finally be happening now?

According to an exclusive report from well-known celebrity news outlet Page Six, BTS and Justin Bieber are set to collaborate together on an upcoming song.

Page Six reports that an exclusive source revealed a BTS and Justin Bieber collaboration is currently in the works—possibly as part of a deluxe repackage of Bieber’s latest album, Justice.

Many have been speculating that a collaboration could be in the works after US investment company Ithaca Holdings merged with HYBE America earlier this year. Owned by Scooter Braun, Ithaca Holdings is the parent company of SB Projects—Braun’s talent agency which manages Justin Bieber as well as Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and others. Shortly after the new partnership was confirmed, BTS sent a welcome message to Justin Bieber and the rest of SB Holdings’ artists.

Then, several days ago, a social media account by the name of DeuxMoi shared an Instagram story proclaiming, “BTS collab is Bieber but u didn’t hear it from me [sic].” DeuxMoi is an anonymous gossip account known for sharing various pop culture rumors, blind items, celebrity sighting, and more.

BTS and Justin Bieber have also publicly supported and encouraged each other several other times in the past. Back in January last year, Jungkook shared Bieber’s song “Yummy” on Twitter with thumbs up and heart emojis, which Bieber later thanked him for.

A few months later, Justin Bieber shared a video of himself lip syncing to an audio clip of BTS’s fan chant on Instagram.

And this isn’t the first time a collaboration has been rumored between the two artists. Back in 2018 when Scooter Braun announced he’d be developing a K-Pop movie with Fox, fans began to speculate a BTS and Justin Bieber collab could be in the works. The same rumors surfaced again in September 2019, when Justin Bieber tweeted a happy birthday message to Jungkook, adding, “They aint ready :).”

Plus, Jungkook also named Justin Beiber as one of the Western musical artists he looks up to in a 2017 interview with Ozy, while Bieber stated, “If anyone knows how to make history, it’s BTS,” in an E!News voiceover last year.
