BTS’s Jungkook Is Reminded Once Again Just How Happy Performing On Stage Can Be

He is forever grateful.

With BTS‘s two-day MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E concert finishing on a good note, this show gave both the members and fans a sliver of hope that better things would be coming their way.

The youngest member Jungkook was reminded once again that he was destined to become a singer and a member of the group as he felt the most happiness while performing on stage. His ending speech for both days showed just how thankful and happy he was to be able to perform in front of ARMYs all over the world.

I am so thankful that I can hear your voices and see your faces through this online concert. I am really a person that can live happily just by doing concerts. About 80~90% of the concert is to see all of you and I can do many things just by listening to your voices. Listening to all your voices today made me remember all the memories we have made together and it made me really happy.

I had a blast doing this concert and I feel like I have become used to this life. Due to all your love and support I think I will be able to continue to power through and live happily. I had a great time today and although we don’t know when we can see each other in-person, please remember to wear your mask and take care of your health. I hope that your days will be filled with happiness. Thank you so much and I love you.

He tries to find the positive in every moment and is grateful that he can see the fans through the power of technology.

I’m really happy. You know what? I had a conversation with RM yesterday about how COVID-19 should have been something that never happened within our lifetime. But if this happened 3-4 years ago, would we have been able to hold a concert like this where we can see all your faces? I felt really grateful for the technology that allows us to see each other even though we are far away. Of course we are still sad because it would have been great to perform in front of you in person but I am grateful for this moment too.
