After leaving the 2019 Grammy Awards, BTS planned to host a private after party for ARMYs, but things didn’t go as planned.
Instead of hanging out with Hollywood stars, BTS wanted to continue their tradition of celebrating with fans through a livestream. BTS hosted similar hotel parties following the 2017 American Music Awards and the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.
In the past, these parties went off without a hitch, but this time an insane amount of virtual guests flooded the livestream’s website and app the moment BTS’s notification came up.
In short, ARMY was ready to party, but Vlive was not.
vlive crashed because this fandom knows for a fact that bts skip after parties to talk to us, we were ready and vlive was not

In less than 5 minutes, ARMYs caused the broadcast to go off-air, and fans were forced to wait until Vlive recovered from their all-consuming, server-crashing love for BTS.
We just want to hang out with our boys. 🙁 please vlive fix your servers or I'm suing

Thankfully, BTS’s livestream finally aired without issue and is now available for viewing!
