BTS Drops Hints About The Upcoming Album For “Dynamite” – Here’s How They Feel About Their Roles For It

As the overall project manager, Jimin felt the pressure.

BTS just held their press conference this morning for their new single “Dynamite” and also dropped some precious hints about their upcoming album! Although there are no details yet for the album drop, here’s everything they fed fans and the media with during the short morning session.

Jimin shared that the timeline for the drop was pretty much fixed, and the album is still set to be released in the later half of 2020, although there may be some changes if the circumstances see fit.

The goal for the release is still in the later half of 2020. We are working on it hard. The members have participated actively in the making of the album and of course, I have been putting in effort to work hard as well. The period for the drop is confirmed for now, but I think it could differ if there are any last minute changes! However, as much as ARMYs are waiting for it, we will try to hurry it along as well.

Regarding his role as the album’s creative project manager, he shared that he was unsure if he did a good job or not – understandable as the boys have not done anything like this before!

I have taken on the role of the album’s project manager. It is the first time we’re fixing a role like this. To be honest, I don’t know if I did well. As a PM, I had some expectations while working but I do not know if I did well. However, as the members are creating some results, it will be good if you guys can wait just a little more.

On the other hand, Suga shared that as the visual representative for the album, V really worked hard and he managed to achieve his dreams for the album in the end. Jungkook also piped in and praised V for a job well done on creating a good timeline.

Speaking for himself, V shared that all the members had a hand in creating this album, and thus, it will be one that is more BTS-like than ever!

Since early this year, we had set the goal for release as the later half of 2020, so we have been working on the album consistently. Every member has a role they are in charge of and so we have been actively and aggressively participating in the creation of the album. I think it is an album that has the scent of BTS even more so as such, and that’s the sort of album and contents that will come out of it. I hope you show it lots of love.

Lastly, the boys shared a little bit about their achievements on the Billboard charts this year, as well as their future goals. Suga shared that while he feels honored with the results from the charts, he does not really see the numbers as a goal to work towards. Rather, he wants his songs to have an emotional impact on the listeners.

I’m curious to know what will happen too. I get nervous and excited as I keep my eyes on music charts. And when our songs do well, we feel very grateful and honored. But we don’t really set the charts as our goals. We believe in trying our best each and every time so we can repay the love and support we receive. This particular single though, we have a certain goal. We started off preparing this release hoping that it would kind of energize everyone. So our goal is to see that happen. We hope our listeners find peace and comfort in this song. We want the song to have a special meaning and power in our fans’ hearts too.
