BTS Charts On Billboard For An Impressive 15 Weeks In A Row … Suga’s Becomes Second Member To Chart With A Solo

They aren’t called kings for nothing.

BTS has done it yet again – they’ve charted for an impressive 15 weeks in a row on Billboard‘s main album chart. On the 9th of June, Billboard released their latest chart rankings for “Billboard 200“, with BTS’s album, MAP OF THE SOUL : 7 charting at 74th place. This is an impressive feat considering that the album was released on earlier this year in February, and the chart is open to all genres globally. MAP OF THE SOUL : 7 first made it’s debut into the charts at 1st place on the 7th of March, and has been staking hold on the charts ever since.

MAP OF THE SOUL : 7 placed 1st on the “World Album” charts, 9th on the “Top Current Album Sales” charts, 10th on “Independent Album” charts, 13th on “Tastemaker Album” charts, as well as 65th on “Billboard Canadian Album” charts. The songs individually have charted at 6th (“Filter“), 7th (“Inner Child“), 10th (“My Time“) and 13th (“On“) for the “World Digital Song Sales” charts respectively.

Suga‘s mixtape, D-2, on the other hand, entered the “World Album” charts at 4th place, and entered the “Billboard Hot 100” at 76th place on the chart dated 6th June, becoming the second member of BTS to chart with a solo. J-Hope‘s “Chicken Noodle Soup” charted on the “Billboard Hot 100” at 81st place in October 2019. “Daechwita” concurrently debuted at No. 1 on the “World Digital Song Sales” charts, earning Suga his second 1st place, after his collaborative track with IU, “Eight“.

His other songs on the mixtape have also done well on the “World Digital Song Sales” charts, with “What Do You Think” charting at 4th place, “Daechwita” at 5th and “Burn It” at 15th.

BTS will also be delivering a live stream concert to Armys on the 14th of June, “BangBangCon The Live“, inviting fans to watch their 90 minute concert available with a total of 6 multi-view screens.
