Shofar Music Announces Woo Ji Yoon Has Decided To Leave BOL4

She has left the group.

Shofar Music has announced that Woo Ji Yoon has decided to leave BOL4.

In their announcement, they shared the reason why Woo Ji Yoon decided to leave, and the future plans for BOL4 as an artist.

Hello, this is Shofar Music.

First, we would like to thank the fans for supporting and loving BOL4. We would like to inform everyone our official position of a change in composition in the members of our artist, BOL4.

Member Woo Ji Yoon expressed her intentions to wrap up her time as a member of BOL4 due to concerns over her future endeavors. With this, we spent a long time carefully thinking about this with both of the members. The two members talked for a long time and were able to come to an understanding about each other’s thoughts. Shofar Music will also respect her choice.

BOL4 will continue as a one-man system with Ahn Ji Young, with no recruitment of new members. After much consideration, Woo Ji Yoon has decided to end her career as a member of BOL4.

Although it is regrettable that she is not able to stay with BOL4, we made the decision out of respect and support for her own opinion. Ahn Ji Young and Woo Ji Yoon will wrap up their time as group members, but will remain colleagues and friends who will support each other in their future paths.

BOL4 is working on an album that is planning to be released in May. Please continue to support Ahn Ji Young who will continue her career as BOL4.

Shofar Music will continue to support the bright future of these two artists.

Thank you.

BOL4 debuted in 2016 after signing with Shofar Music. The duo originally competed in Superstar K6 in 2014. The group remained relatively unknown until their huge breakout with “Galaxy” in 2016. Since then, they have been touted as “digital monsters”, with all of their new releases instantly topping the music charts in Korea.
