BLACKPINK just entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at #55, the highest ranking ever for a Korean girl group, but that’s not all that they’ve made history on.
“DDU-DU DDU-DU” recorded 12.4 million streams to reach #39 on the Streaming Songs tally, becoming the first K-Pop girl group to enter the Streaming chart with a title track.
Their album SQUARE UP also entered the Billboard 200 Album chart at #40, also the highest ever for a K-Pop girl group.
They sold an equivalent of 14,000 album units, and also claimed #1 on the World Albums Chart.
Finally, BLACKPINK debuted #1 on the Emerging Artists Chart, becoming the first K-Pop girl group to do so, and only the 2nd overall, with the first being NCT.
