BLACKPINK Becomes First K-Pop Group Ever To Surpass 800 Million Views

BLACKPINK have added onto their already impressive record:

It would definitely be safe to say that BLACKPINK are the queens of breaking records and they’ve just done it again with an impressive 800 million views!

BLACKPINK have been breaking records ever since they debuted. It seems every one of their releases has set a new record and continue to do so! Their hit song, “DDU-DU DDU-DU” is the latest to continue setting a new record!

On May 11, BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” surpassed 800 million views which then meant that BLACKPINK became the first K-Pop group to have a music video with more than 800 million YouTube views!

The amazing achievement was also done in record time! Since the song was released, this record-breaking view count was done in less than a year (326 days to be exact).

This isn’t the first time BLACKPINK became the first K-Pop group to achieve an impressive view count. Back in March, “DDU-DU DDU-DU” was the first video to reach 700 million views! Now it’s at 800 million and growing!

Perhaps even more impressive than the previous record and their new one is that they are the first K-Pop group to see their video reach the milestone. In fact, the only other Korean act to have achieved this is PSY!

Their list of achievements just keeps continuing to grow! Congratulations once again to BLACKPINK. Now listen to the history-making song once again below!
