On March 24, Big Hit Entertainment posted an announcement through Weverse updating fans on the progress of BTS’s MAP OF THE SOUL tour.

They revealed that they are closely monitoring the situations of COVID-19 in countries and cities that are a part of the tour. They’ve decided that due to the level of unpredictability becoming higher, that they will have to either reschedule or cancel shows with the full cooperation and guidance from national and local governments.
Although they are trying their best to proceed with the upcoming tour, changes may be provided separately for each region.
Additionally, they announced that they would be making plans to secure new dates and locations for the Seoul portion of their tour when the situation becomes stable.
They understand just how disappointed fans were due to the cancellations and they will make the best effort to try and deliver the tour in any way they can.
Big Hit states that the health and safety of both the artist and fans will always be their highest priority and hopes that everyone will understand these decisions during these hard times.
