BIGBANG’s T.O.P Slams Malicious Commenters, Wants Them To Take Responsibility

T.O.P added his voice to the debate.

BIGBANG‘s T.O.P is the next celebrity to raise his voice against malicious commenters.

On October 16, T.O.P updated his Instagram story with a screenshot from @phillip_paradise’s Instragram feed. The post, which freely criticized malicious commentators, was in clear reference to the recent news of Sulli’s passing and sent a poignant message:

The caption says:

Malicious comments are murder. Freedom should come with responsibility.

T.O.P, as a celebrity, has seen his fair share of malicious commenters. He has been known to struggle with depression, and even overdosed in response to the vicious hate he received during his own scandal in 2017.

His response is among the many as multiple celebrities now speak up about cyberbullying in light of Sulli‘s untimely passing. Many celebrities have also reached out on social media to convey their condolences to Sulli, and there are now discussions on the construction of bills and promised action against malicious comments.

Sulli was confirmed to have passed away on Monday, October 14.
