Ahn Jae Hyun reveals the story behind his debut as an actor

On October 24th, model and actor Ahn Jae Hyun appeared on Girls’ Generation’s Sunny‘s FM Date on FM4U as a guest, where he gave the story behind how he made his debut as an actor in the SBS drama My Love From the Star.

The actor revealed, “I went to meet director Jang Tae Yoo after I heard he wanted to see me for a role in My Love From the Star. It turns out that the day of the meeting was actually the day of the audition for the character Yoon Jae. Script writer Park Ji Eun also thought I suited the role and asked if I had an interest in doing it. But because I knew I was not much of an actor, I actually refused it.”

But it seems like director Jang Tae Yoo saw a similar feature between the character Yoon Jae and Ahn Jae Hyun. The next day, they had a dinner together and Ahn Jae Hyun said, “I think I can learn a lot as an actor if I work with director,” and made his mind to take the younger brother role Chun Yoon Jae of ChunSong Yi (Jun Ji Yeon).

Another highlight of the radio session was when Sunny asked the actor on his perspective on love and work.

Ahn Jae Hyun enthusiastically answered, “I hope to marry early. I want to go to a collection with my daughter who looks like me and wear matching family clothes… I want to try walking on the show while holding my kid too. It would be really fun. But in order to have a family, I realised that I need money, house, and a care. So as of now, I am just doing all my best to prepare for my future.”

Meanwhile, Ahn Jae Hyun will star in the upcoming movie Fashion King releasing on November 6th!
