2AM currently in discussion with JYP Entertainment over contract renewals

Three members of 2AM are currently in discussions with their agency, JYP Entertainment, over contract renewals as their contracts are due to expire in February 2015.

Seulong, Jinwoon, and Jo Kwon are the ones currently undergoing talks about their possible contract renewals. Changmin’s contract differs from that of the three member, and is not expected to near contract renewal until 2015.

On December 19th, an official from the company mentioned he believes it is unlikely they will not renew since they still have a lot more to offer as artists and as actors. This past year, all three members showed off their skills as actors with Jo Kwon taking part in the musical Priscilla, while Seulong appeared in the drama Hotel King and Jinwoon in Marriage, Not Dating. Furthermore the members of 2AM do not seem to have any conflicts with their agency, making it even more likely that they will renew their contracts in February.

The group debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2008 with “This Song,” and has since then gone on to create multiple hits with their powerful voices. The group also recently released a special version of their album Let’s Talk.
