Fans just can’t seem to agree when it comes to which generation of K-Pop is currently underway. Some argue the 4th generation is here — K-Pop has reached global status and groups are debuting into the new era of international possibilities. However, others believe that since 3rd generation groups are still dominating, these newer groups can only be considered 3.5th generation at most. Whichever way you look at it, these 10 groups are flourishing in the latest era of K-Pop.

As JYP Entertainment’s newest boy group, Stray Kids may be one of the groups considered a contender for the latest generation despite officially debuting back in 2017.
