Here are 3 stories from when V was a student that all ARMYs (BTS’s fandom) need to know.

1. Standing up for Jimin

Jimin and V are best friends, and V once stood up for Jimin when he thought Jimin was getting bullied. When Jimin enrolled in V’s high school, V introduced Jimin to all of his friends and teachers.

V later saw Jimin alone and confronted his friends about this, as he thought they were ignoring Jimin.

I was surprised so I got angry at my friends and said, ‘Why are you not talking to my friend?’

V’s friends, however, told him that everything was a big misunderstanding.

I talked for 20 minutes, but Jimin only answered my questions. He was quiet so I stopped talking

2. V’s popularity

On Weverse, an ARMY asked V for some advice on making friends at her new school.

Taehyung oppa, I only have a few days left before I go to school. I’m a bit on the timid side, so I don’t know how I should make friends💦 Please give me some advice!!

When I was transferring schools, I took a pencil case that you can play a game on it, so I was kind of popular-

3. V’s work ethic

OH MY GIRL‘s Seunghee went to the same high school as V and Jimin, and they became good friends!

Jimin used to be in my class, while V was in another class. But I knew V first. When Jimin switched schools, he ended up in my class. V introduced me to Jimin and asked me to be his friend, so we all became buddies.

— Seunghee

Seunghee shared that both V and Jimin were hard workers in high school.

I still remember Jimin was all about practicing. That’s all he knew. He’d spend the night up practicing and come to school half-dead like a zombie.

— Seunghee

He (V) would start dancing in the subway station, checking his moves in the reflection of the screen doors. I used to watch him do that… but he really did surprise me.

While the three are busy with their own careers now, they still keep in touch!

Yeah, we still keep in touch. They’re on tour right now… but I’ve told them, if things get rough on the road and they need someone to talk it out with, they have me.
