These two played Ahn Joong Hee and Byun Mi Young on KBS2‘s My Father is Strange. Their on-screen chemistry was so good that fans began to suspect that the pair had something else going on.

2. Ryu Jun Yeol and Girl’s Day’s Hyeri

Ryu Jun Yeol‘s character (Jung Pal) in Reply 1988 ended the series hopelessly wishing for Hyeri‘s character (Deok Sun) to choose him. Their chemistry was so real, that viewers swore until the very end that Jung Pal would marry Deok Sun.

Fans were heartbroken but had their sorrows soothed as Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri’s special bond continued off-screen. Even before their official announcement, they looked like a true couple at the 2016 tvN10 Awards. 

3. Yoon Hyun Min and Baek Jin Hee

These lovebirds met on the set of MBC My Daughter Geum Sa Wol in 2015 as Geum Sa Wol and Kang Chan Bin. Their performance in the drama was so convincing that viewers knew something was up.

Last March, they revealed they had been dating since April 2016, and are still dating happily today!

4. Ji Sung and Lee Bo Young

Ji Sung and Lee Bo Young met on the set of Save the Last Dance for Me in 2004. Even though their characters’ engagement fell through, the couple announced their relationship in 2007.

They got married in 2013, and are living happily with their daughter Kwak Ji Yoo (Ji Sung’s birth name is Kwak Jae Geun).

5. Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki

The Song-Song couple met on the set of KBS Descendants of the Sun and were hit with dating rumors before the drama even ended.

After the drama ended, sparks continued to fly between the two off-screen though they continued to any dating rumors.

They announced their relationship marriage plans in July 2017, and tied the knot in October 2017!

6. Lee Dong Gun and Jo Yoon Hee

This pair portrayed on-screen couple Lee Dong Jin and Na Yeon Shil on KBS‘s The Gentleman of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop in 2016.

It turns out they felt the same butterflies that they gave the viewers because in February 2017 they revealed they were in a relationship!

They’ve been married since September 2017 and welcomed a daughter back in December 2017!

7. Ahn Jae Hyun and Ku Hye Sun

This couple met as doctors on the set of KBS2‘s Blood in 2015. Their characters’ connection was undeniable.

But their connection continued off-screen and it only took a few more months for them to announce their relationship.

The beautiful couple wed in May 2016 and showcased their adorable married life on tvN‘s Newlywed Diary.
