K-Pop has fully taken over Twitter as more and more groups and fans use the platform to interact and share their love for the genre. Thanks to a video by The Visualized Trends, we can see just how viral these groups went in 2020! Here is a look at the 5 groups whose names appeared the most in Twitter’s trending topics throughout the year.

5. BLACKPINK

“BLACKPINK” and related tags trended 64 times in 2020! Their most popular hashtag was #blackpink_globalpresscon on June 26, 2020, where the group promoted their single “How You Like That.” The hashtag had almost 700k tweets!
