Speaking of debut tracks. 2NE1 debuted with Fire in 2009 and it was a bop.
8. Heartbeat (2PM)
Heartbeat resembles a modern K-pop track with its composition, it’s a great song now and it was back in 2009 too.
9. La Cha Ta (F(x))
2009 spawned many girl groups that would define the coming years. This infectious debut beat by F(x) put them on the map.

This song is made all the sweeter by the fact that Taeyang is now a married man!
11. Marshmallow (IU)
One of IU’s earlier works when her cute phase was in full swing. It actually featured Zico who she collaborated with for “Soulmate” just last year.

This song was on the OST for Boys Over Flowers which is one of the most legendary K-dramas of all time.

15. Nobody (English Version) – Wonder Girls
Although the original version came out in 2008, the English version was released in 2009 to help Wonder Girls break into the American market. This was the first ever song ever by a South Korean group to make the Billboard charts.

19. Because Of You (After School)
