13 High School Characters Who Were Played By MUCH Older Actors

These actors don’t seem to age.

1. Kim Soo Hyun

Nine years ago the popular actor played a high schooler in Will It Snow For Christmas?

 

Despite being 21 years old at the time, it was easy to believe he was several years younger.

 

2. Park Hyung Sik

Park Hyung Sik played the younger version of Lee Jin Wook’s character in Nine: Nine Time Travels.

 

He may have been an adult at the time, but his youthful face made it incredibly easy to believe he was still in high school at the time.

 

3. Im Si Wan

While Im Si Wan may have been 24 at the time, he didn’t look out of place with his younger Moon Embracing The Sun castmates.

 

At the same age, he played a very convincing student in Man From The Equator.

 

4. Kang Ha Neul

There’s no doubt Kang Ha Neul has a very youthful air about him.

 

His appearance is so useful that even as an adult he passes as a school student. One of his most iconic roles was in the drama Angel Eyes where he plays a student even though he was 24 years old at the time.

 

5. Kyung Soo Jin

On an episode of Running Man, Kyung Soo Jin could have fooled many people into thinking she was a student even though she was 27!

 

Two years later, she would play a very convincing university student in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo.

 

6. Han Ji Min

Han Ji Min was 21 at the time she played the teenage Min Su Yeon in All In.

 

Even though she was an adult at the time she easily passed as a teenager. She looked so young that she probably could have played an even younger role!

 

7. Lee Min Ho

Over the course of Boys Over Flowers, Lee Min Ho’s character may have grown up but it was easy to believe the actor at every stage of Gu Jun Pyo’s life.

 

Lee Min Ho really doesn’t seem to age. When he was 26 starred in The Heirs, where he once again played a high school student!

 

8. Lee Hyun Woo

Lee Hyun Woo impressed in his Man From The Equator role. While he was close to the age of a high schooler at the time, he had already moved on from his own high school days!

 

He also went on to play a student once again in Moorim School when he was 23.

 

9. Ha Ji Won

In The Time We Were Not In Love, the talented actress stunned when she portrayed a high school student for part of the drama.

 

Regardless of being 37 years old at the time, her youthful looks made it completely plausible that she was a teen.

 

10. Yoo Ah In

In one of Yoo Ah In’s most iconic roles, he plays a troublesome and rebellious high school student.

 

While Punch‘s coming of stage story is very realistic, what may be a shock is that Yoo Ah In was 25 at the time!

 

11. Park Shin Hye

Park Shin Hye could probably play any role convincingly, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that she gave a great performance as a high schooler in The Heirs even though she was 23 years old at the time.

 

One year later she would return to the screen portraying a student for part of Pinocchio‘s runtime.

 

That wasn’t the last time Park Shin Hye portrayed a student though! At 26, she played a troublemaker who would later turn her life around in Doctors.

 

12. Lee Jong Suk

Although Park Shin Hye’s Pinocchio co-star’s hair may have been a little suspect, he managed to play a ridiculously authentic high schooler at the age of 25.

 

Plus he impressed in School 2013 even though he was 23 years old!

 

13. Kim Woo Bin

Kim Woo Bin is the same age as Lee Jong Suk which means they were both the same age in School 2013!

 

Plus Kim Woo Bin would go on to star as the loveable bully in The Heirs at 24.
