FTISLAND to have a comeback next April

It has been formally announced that Korean rock band FTISLAND will be coming back with an album and new music in April 2015, which is to be their first album released in a year and  5 months.

Their previous 5th mini album titled THE MOOD enjoyed considerable amount of success, topping the weekly Hanteo charts, Gaon charts, and even ranked first for pre-release sales on the Japanese online HMV charts.

Not only are the men to have a comeback album, but are also to embark on a Latin American/European tour by the name of 2015 FT ISLAND FTHX Tour. This has proved to be a source of great excitement and joy, especially so for fans in Brazil, Chile, and Mexico.

FTISLAND, though they have not had any official Korean musical releases as a group in a while, have been kept quite busy for the past year, with their Japanese FT Island Autumn Tour – To the Light in October, with both their Hokkaido and Osaka venues completely selling out, proving their ever-growing popularity in the Japanese markets.

The members have also been enjoying their own individual promoitonal successes, with member Lee Hongki gaining much popularity from his appearance on SBS drama Modern Farmer. However, it seems that their efforts as a joint group is the most rewarding, as an be seen by their nomination for “Best Band Performance” in the Mnet Asia Music Awards.
