Netizens cannot help but pitch their opinions towards the latest pictorial of Etude House featuring Red Velvet’s Joy.
As photos of Red Velvet’s latest campaign were published to the public, Joy has been receiving mixed reviews for her concept and styling from Etude House’s pictorial. In a post started on Pann yesterday, it was highlighted that singer does not match the concept of the cosmetics brand at all, while some commenting on the exaggerated editing of her photos.
Some netizens were quick to point out that Joy normally register well with the camera with her other photoshoots, while a clip of her campaign proves the unedited version of her make-up and concept.
The photos were also compared to Krystal’s previous campaign that was able to match her looks to the products and their campaign. However, some commenters also pointed out that Krystal also suffered the same problem as Joy for bad photo editing and concepts, throwing shade at Etude House instead.
Red Velvet is the third SM Entertainment artist to promote Etude House following SHINee and f(x)’s Krystal.
